Scott Adolphsen Wins Salesman of the Year Award at North Dakota Lumberman’s Show

Scott Adolphsen – Senior Outside Salesman for Sprenger Midwest – was recognized by the North Dakota Retail Lumberman’s Association as the winner of their Salesman of the Year award on January 19, 2022 in Fargo at their annual convention.

Scott is a very humble person and was reluctant to accept the award and even more so about our mentioning it here; but we’re so very proud of and happy for him that we wanted to share the story. This award is a testament to being a person of the high-integrity, who is dedicated to his family, customers, company and industry. He is exactly the type of person that anyone would want on their team and to have as a friend.

After serving in the military, Scott has been in the building materials industry for 39 years; with 24 in retail and the last 15 years in wholesale distribution. Sprenger Midwest is very pleased to have had him as part of our family for going on 3 years now.

He travels a very large territory, comprised of the upper half of MN + the entire eastern half of ND. When asked what he has enjoyed the most about his career, Scott commented: “The trust and friendships that have developed over time”.  Obviously by winning this award, his many friends in North Dakota, feel the same way about him. When asked about what he likes best about working for Sprenger Midwest, Scott said: “The fact that it is a family owned business, with a great sales team and management”.

Outside of work, Scott enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending time with his wife, Tami, of 42 years, daughters Michelle and Ashley, and three grandchildren, Traysen, William, and Raleigh.
